If your refrigerator is covered in stickers and stains, we’ll show you how to remove them with a few simple cleaning tricks It’s normal to put stickers and labels on the refrigerator and other appliances, but over time they become increasingly stuck and difficult to remove. Generally, these stickers end up accumulating a lot of dirt and grease and, over time, they change colour and turn yellow. In the next note, we will teach you some cleaning tricks that never fail to remove these stickers and leave your refrigerator and other appliances looking like new, without marks or glue stains.
How to remove stickers and residue from your refrigerator and other appliances?
Method 1
One cleaning trick for removing old and torn stickers from your refrigerator is to spread a layer of butter or margarine over the residue and then scrub with a sponge. The fat in the butter will begin to melt and loosen the remains of the stickers. After removing all the residue, we recommend cleaning with water and detergent so that the surface is spotless.

Method 2
Another trick that never fails to leave stainless steel appliances spotless is to create a mixture with the following ingredients:
- Baking soda
- White vinegar
With both ingredients, you should create a paste, which you will then place on the sticker or residue. Rub very carefully so as not to cause scratches or marks. After removing most of the sticker or residue, spread a little vegetable oil on a microfibre cloth and start rubbing the glue residue. Use circular motions and you will soon notice that there are no more traces of glue. The next step is to clean the fridge or appliance with water and detergent to remove any grease residue left over from the oil. And that’s it.
